7 days, 6 nights Cultural Safari in Historical Tanzania
Tanzania is home to some of the earliest traces of humanity, and some of the world’s most unique cultures. On this week-long tour, guests will have the opportunity to experience the country’s rich culture alongside its wildlife and stunning vistas. Beginning with a few safaris in Lake Manyara, guests will have the opportunity to drive beside flamingos, baboons, buffalo and impala. From there, the trip then moves into the seldom-visited Lake Eyasi region, where guests will learn from the Hadzabe people themselves. Walks through the bush, visits to local communities and locally inspired meals will provide insight into a culture that has lived here for over 10, 000 years.
From the Hadzabe, the tour then moves on to a local Masai village, where guests are provided with the opportunity to learn about this hugely unique nomadic warrior culture that lives, in part, around the Ngorongoro Crater. The tour concludes with a few sensational game drives around this magical crater and a visit to the Iraqw people’s cultural center before returning back to the city of Arusha where it all began.
